Laketec Communications is a full service IT company specializing in Voice, Network, and Cloud solutions.  We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer who is passionate about helping our customers through intelligent design across multiple product lines.


 

Senior Network Engineer Overview:



  • Primary responsibilities include performing project-based engineering, design, installation and troubleshooting of wired and wireless networks.

  • LAN routing, switching, and wireless configuration and deployment in medium to very large environments

  • Provide network engineering consulting services, including: assessment, design and implementation of data and secure networking environments

  • Assist clients through planning, design and implementation of secure data communications networks

  • Develop comprehensive graphical and text-based design documentation and effectively manage the implementation process from design to customer acceptance

  • Serve as an escalation point for other teammates in the department.

  • Attend Pre Sales appointments with Account Executives to help in the discovery and design process.


 

Job Requirements:



  • Expert-level knowledge and experience with design, implementation and support of the following:

    • Complex routing and switching solutions

    • Complex wireless solutions

    • Firewalls/VPNs

    • Network Access Control/Authentication solutions including implementation design, & configuration



  • Relevant certifications

    • Aruba ACMA/ACMP/ACCP/ACDX

    • Arista ACE

    • Palo Alto ACE/CNSE

    • Cisco CCNA/CCNP/CCIE

    • HP ATP/ASE



  • Relevant Product Experience:

    • Aruba Networks Wireless Solutions

    • Aruba Networks Clearpass

    • Arista Networks Switching

    • Palo Alto Firewalls

    • Avaya Networking (SPB/Virtual Services Fabric experience is a plus)

    • Cisco Nexus and Catalyst Switches

    • Cisco ISR Routers

    • Cisco ASA firewalls

    • Cisco ISE

    • Cisco Wireless

    • HP Networking




Experience:



  • BS in CS or EE or 5-7 years related experience

  • 5+ years of networking experience, including configuring, analyzing & troubleshooting complex networks
